On Aug. 24, 2010 as a result of a drug investigation members of the West Grey Police Service, with the assistance of the following services; Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Ontario Provincial Police, Saugeen Shores Police Service, Hanover Police Service and Waterloo Regional Police Service, executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a property located on Baseline Rd.

West Grey Police with the assistance of Technical Traffic Collison Investigators from the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred yesterday at approximately 1:30 P.M.

West Grey Police Chief Rene Berger recently participated in the Optimist Club of Normanby Township Community Fun & Childhood Cancer Campaign Day actitivities held in the Village of Ayton.
